You would like to go skitouring and enjoy the beauty of the mountains in winter. In the training "Introduction Skitouring" you will learn the basics of skitouring. After this training you will be able to do easy ski tours with a experienced leader. You will learn:
- How to put on an avalanche transceiver (beacon) and to check it
- How to put on skins and crampons for skis
- How to use a touring binding
- Walking technique with skins and touring bindings
- Basics for setting up a trail
- Information about ski touring gear
- Tips and tricks
Requirements:
Stamina to walk 1 - 2 hours up hill, good ski technique and good health.
Service:
Mountain guide for about 5 - 6 hours of training including a small skitour. Skitouring equipment is not included but can be hired.
Fee:
CHF 520.00 for 1 or 2 people. For every additional person CHF 40.00 will be charged.
